Honestly that makes me excited! They’re taking chances, and it’s exactly what they need. I’m sure there’s gonna be songs you love on the next album
Seriously, it nails that “sad club banger” vibe much more than a lot of the last album. It has a swelling darkness, and really tight groove that adds to the anxiety. Love it. Album just shot to my most anticipated for the rest of the year
I think I like it? Certainly nice they mixed it up a bit, but from the stand point that it's been a minute, many may find it overwhelming.
About You was my most listened to album of last year and it wasn't even close. Didn't even realize it until Spotify gave me the news. The first single following that record is also one of my favorite songs by them (and the best/fun video).
