It's how the first week was too. The first week it came back on for season 2 was an hour and a half long and really consisted of Episode 1 and 2. I think USA expanded the season to 12 episodes this year, but still only showing across 10 weeks. EDIT* Think I misread your statement. But what I was trying to say is, they're all separate episodes, it's just that the last two are appearing on the same night. I don't think next week and the week following are supposed to be one big finale.
Thoughts from the last episode: Everyone's storylines are moving towards a massive end of the season collision with this Washington Township stuff. There is obviously going to be a major event surrounding that in the finale. An explosion maybe? Based on WR's involvement, you know it's going to be something bad; making the fallout from 5/9 even worse. Mr. Robot is acting like he has no idea why Elliot keeps having these brown out phases, but I think he's trying to take back control. He really pushes Elliot not to pursue the meeting with Cisco's DA contact to learn more about Phase II because he is the one who planned Phase II and doesn't want Elliot to step in the way. I heard a theory about the significance of the number 86. It's brought up as the number of days Elliot spent in jail and also as the year E-Corp's previous CEO took over (possibly another time to). The CEO's tenure "tragically" ended in 95, might something big be coming on Day 95 after the hack (Aug 11)??
Hacking Robot (after show hosted by Andy Greenwald) is back on following tonight's episode. That leads me to believe something crazy epic will happen tonight that needs to be broken down. Edit: Hacking Robot's twitter has been fielding questions for "cast and creators". Only Rami is confirmed the appear though.
We'll see, but so far I'm not a fan of the idea that something is in the Washington plant that Whiterose (or just Mr. Zhang?) cares about. Just seems TOO connected with Elliot. Feels too much like an, "elliot is the chosen one" trope if that's the case. Of course I could be completely wrong.
I'm obviously excited for every new episode, but there just something that's making me feel like tonight is going to be a big one. My first thought when I opened my eyes this morning was about how stoked I am.
So I guess the finale will be aired over two weeks after all. Anyways, that ending was intense. Still have no idea what's going on but I'm enjoying it!
ohh my god that episode!! everyone has their favorite, this one is easily mine. wow wow wow. i literally yelled 'holy shit' at the credits. intense fucking shit, i love it.
im trying to not to speculate or guess, but the show really wants you to try and find clues (WHICH IS FUCKING AWESOME)...I have no idea.
As everyone else said, that last 10 minutes was so friggin tense. Do we think Angela was wearing a wire or nah?
I wondered that. There was a weird advertisement behind both of them for some type of speaker/recording device. Edit: Found the screenshots
The assumption from that that I saw on Reddit (and seems likely) is that there's an image encoded in the audio at some point during that scene.
