Damn, solid episode I'm loving that we get exposition in explanations this season. ie. Eliot explaining what happened that led to him needing therapy and his first time seeing Darlene in awhile, Trenton and Mobley meeting
Read a really cool theory on /r/MrRobot about how the "stages" of the Ecorp hack will be a metaphor for the 4 stages of cancer, that each season will represent a furthering stage as society slowly starts to crumble, and that the death of "the system" and social revolution will happen in "stage 4" in the 4th and possibly final season.
Haven't watched the episode just yet, but saw some photos. Looks like I was right about the guy with Ray being a guard in the theory I tossed out a few episodes ago. Makes me look forward to this episode even more now.
I'm starting to kinda buy into the theory that Tyrell and Elliot are brothers (or even fraternal twins) and that(I buy into this less) it was actually Tyrell who fell out of the window. This could be debunked by (and I don't remember what happened) if, when Elliot was in the hospital being asked about abuse, the doctor called him by his name.
That episode reminded why I fell in love with this show in the first place. The first half of this season was a bit of a drag, but man it's really been good lately. Can't wait to see how it all unfolds. There's what, 3 more episodes?
Did anyone think of this possible Fight Club connection from last night? Elliot has some involvement in the Dark Army as they were confused why Elliot was asking about Phase 2 when it was him that set it up. It reminded me of when the Narrator in FC wasn't consciously aware of setting up other fight clubs around the country as his Tyler Durden persona
I'm guessing they're waiting until the finale to reveal to us what happened with Elliot/Tyrell in those 3 days. Sure the plans for stage 2 and such were organized during that time. If we find out some sooner I'd be happy. If they wait even longer I'll be kind of annoyed.
It is a two part finale, like the premiere, but they're airing it over two weeks instead. So actually 9/21.
Wikipedia still says the two-part finale airs 9/14. Has the news of splitting it up been made recently?
I got it from this review earlier today: Mr. Robot brings everybody together as it turns toward the endgame "...for the season's final three hours (a penultimate episode, then a two-part finale aired over two weeks)." Could be wrong though! Edit: actually I think it's just written in a confusing way. I read it as a two part finale aired over two weeks. But I think it means the season's final 3 hours are being aired over two weeks. My bad!
