People think this season's boring? I guess the first half of the premiere was a bit slow at parts just to establish some things, but I've been at the edge of my seat this season. The VR app they did was also pretty cool. But, working in IT, it's also fun to see and read a lot of stuff that I'm familiar with incorporated into the show. So there's a bit of bias for me there :p
I'm loving everything with Elliot. I just feel like all of the other characters stories have been good, not great, but I have faith that it'll all come together by seasons end
Does his mom just hanging out watching TV in the chair while everything else is going on bother anyone else? Like, I don't think it's not 100% real, but still
Chances are it's not his mum but a nurse that appears as his mum to Elliot's mind, if the Elliot is in a mental institution theory is actually real, which at this stage I believe is true. Edit: just read your second sentence which I missed before, looks like you're already aware of this theory
Loved this week's episode. If people are still complaining about ambiguity after that episode, it's probably time to stop watching. I don't think it'll get any less ambiguous from here.
My only problem right now is Ray knowing absolutely nothing about what he's doing. The guy he's based on was quite smart/computer literate, no?
I love this season. This episode wasn't written my Esmail though, I thought he was writing / directing every episode?
Sam has been pumping the hype of tonight's episode on Twitter: -"our best episode to date, it also features one of my favorite guest stars" -re: special music choices... "the opening in particular is great" -better than S1E4 (da3m0ns.mp4, my personal favorite) -"you should watch tonight's epsiode liive, WITH THE COMMERCIALS. Trust me on this one." He also retweeted that he'll be on NPR's All Things Considered tonight and an EW contributor who called tonight "essential viewing for the first 19 minutes alone"
Curious how the commercials will play into it (not that I'm able to watch live without cable anyway).
They don't post the episodes on the USA app until the next day, right? Love HBO's method of posting them while they're airing, everyone should do that.
Guess they'll be splicing bits of the show in the commercials? Not gonna watch it live since that's the time I usually work out, but I won't skip through the commercials I guess.
Probably just the commercials will tie into the episode or there will be some kind of promotion or something. Like an ecorp themed Google commercial or something.
I always just buy it on Amazon next day so I can watch in my room / have it uncensored, hope I don't miss anything
