I could not find a thread so I made one. Record is great and very unique. I can definitely see Muna fans like the band.

 

This album is awesome! The lineup is really cool too. In addition to Amber DeLaRosa who's a great vocalist and songwriter, the other two members are Michael Franzino (formerly lead guitarist/main songwriter of A Lot Like Birds) and Dryw Owens (formerly lead vocalist of Consider The Thief, and now a big producer in the post-hardcore scene). Really cool to see all three members branching out into new sonic territory for them.

 

Oh wait I loved Consider The Thief so much and was bummed when their reunion didn't pan out after all. I remember hearing one of their songs earlier this year but I had no idea Dryw was part of this. Coupled with Amber's fantastic vocals, I'm super excited to check this out.

Listening to it and yep this rules. The Feeling of Letting Go is my favorite so far. The vocal delivery or the way Amber's voice warbles (?) reminds me of MUNA's singer at times.
