God I distinctly remember how disappointing Two Bodies was. The first half is just so generic and shit. The last minute or so is decent and what I wanted. I even fooled myself into thinking the rest of the album would sound like that.


Guess I should have just listened when they said their influences going into it were Underoath et al.

 

Now this is a take.

Unrelated to your post but something I want to mention to this thread is Always Only For Me is one of the best songs on this album and no seems to ever mention it

 

Waves is very cool. Feels like a journey.

Stones sounds like City and Colour

i've been listening to this band a lot if you can't tell

 

Subbing and saying that the s/t has become an all-timer for me after nearly five years since its release.

 

Shit, it’s almost been five years

 

Swing Set is one of my favorite songs of all time

 

Those first five songs is an incredible stretch. Hands is still my favorite on the album. Serene

 

The bells in Burn Pile are something else

 

The bell sounds are one of my favorite parts of the record
