We were so close to the stage I didn’t really notice any of those things other than the short set. Probably will go to the NY show tomorrow since we already traveled this far.
I thought the set was alright. Greg's vocals were low, but mostly because he would sing in his quiet/lower register. The short setlist was surprising though.
Same set as last night but they sounded so much better. Worth the trip up. Now to drive home through this snow storm.
Not sure if it was a new bassist or not - I assume so - but they were fantastic I wouldn’t say they were *great* but they were better than I expected based on Casey and mike’s posts
Yeah, she was good, but it was kinda weird bc only Matthew had been released at the time. Def gonna check out whatever she releases next tho
Yeah, I'm hoping we'll get an EP or, even better, a full-length from her early next year. She's a sweetheart and an incredibly talented person, so I'm glad to see word start to spread about her.
Yea foxing had a new bassist. They were fine. Probably the worst I’ve seen them perform. Conor’s voice was a wreck and they were very messy. Joseph Marro played keys and they brought at a saxophonist for some songs. I think moving mountains had the best overall performance of the night.
They are. I’ve seen them 9 times now and each time was better than last night. But they definitely werent bad.
Foxing with Mov Mou on the same stage sounds exciting, even with the drawbacks you guys have mentioned. I saw some pics as well, and also checked out Shortly, just one song out there, but she sounds promising!
