Thanks for the update. I guess seeing them pop up a on split every few years is all we can hope for at this point. I get it, but too bad. Maybe Greg should start a new band. I know he toured with Say Anything, but something with shared duties like a Republic of Wolves situation.
Does anyone have their ex-members Frank project? I know he was in Caravela. Maybe it was their first EP or demo? I can't remember. It's been awhile.
Breh. Caravela has been putting out music since they were formed years ago. And it's amazing as fuck.
Yeah, man. I for whatever reason thought the band started with an "s" I really don't remember much else. It might be caravela but maybe some earlier work? I don't know.
Maybe I'm somehow over-appreciative, but I like everything from them :) and you guys are getting whiney already ;P Well, that's not too good to hear. But also as I've mentioned in this thread before, Evan from IIOI told me once at his show that he'd like to start a band with Greg, something with shared vocal duties :) From what I can tell not everybody hear would like it, but I'd love it for sure.
I'd definitely be interested in that If it comes to be. I'm a very casual fan of Evan Weiss' music and vocals, but maybe I'd enjoy his vocals more in a reduced and shared role.
The Self-Titled is one of my all time favorite records. I've never heard anything else like it and probably never will.
The last minute and 30 seconds or so are probably my favorite minute and 30 seconds of music ever. Too good.
Their self titled record is pretty mediocre. As is Waves. Pneuma, Foreword, and their split with Prawn are really good though.
How do people enjoy the split but not the S/T and visa versa? They're both very similar if you ask me. The split just brings in strings for the songs.
Woke up today and listened to S/T. This album is so beautiful. From start to finish. Apsides is such a good closer.
The split is basically what their self titled would be if it was any good. Just because it's a similar style doesn't mean the quality is the same. That's like saying you have to like every revenge movie just because you like John Wick. That's not how it works.
