Hard to put into words how much this band means to me. Wish they played a bitttttttt longer but I’ll take what I can get. Hope this is just a taste and they play more shows in the future!
yup, just grabbing my uber. They could have packed that venue with double the people and didn’t. It was amazing because of that. I was in a black Lane 8 hoodies back middle, if anyone saw me. deathless is not only among the best songs this band has written, but one of the best songs I’ve ever heard haha.
These songs are too massive for a venue that size, I really hope they gain momentum and tour more. Easily could’ve done the Sinclair. Tones were insane, drumming was unbelievable
I brought a friend who had never listened to MM before. He’s much more of a musician than I could ever hope to be, and he was thoroughly enjoying the drums and guitar tones.
I talked to Josh Kirby a little before the Philly show and he said that they plan on being a semi-active band again. They are planning on writing more music. He didn't foresee any big tours but talked about doing some weekend tours occasionally. This weekend's shows were a test-run to gauge interest and to see how playing together again was.
Sorry we didn’t get to hang @congruence but what a fucking show. I was marveling over how beautiful Greg’s guitars were the whole show. Really cool to see Frank with them too. Edit: Oops didn’t see two posts above, I guess I’ll spoil it lol
Yeah I forgot to mention but Greg is sounding like he’s getting more of his range back vocally. A few songs had very small tweaks that made them sound even better live, Ghosts for example was just unbelievable
In case anyone feels like me and regrets not picking up the poster at the Brooklyn show: Moving Mountains - Brooklyn, NY screenprint - October 17th, 2025 — DXVI Designs
Perfect season for this album begins for me right now. So jealous of you all for catching them live lately. I was wondering, do you people hear it more vividly where does Tony Clark sing on "Everyone Is Happy"? I'm pretty sure it's the part with back-ups from 2:13 with words "don't expect it to change" and so on; the higher register. Is there more of him in the song? (or am I actually wrong as well). There's an extra vocal panned to the left later on singing "a little bit faster", which I guess could be either Tony, or just as well somebody else, hard to catch it. Love Prawn, so I'm curious how to pinpoint that
The weird thing to me is the end of Voices sounds a ton like Kingfisher to me but I don’t even hear Tony on the actual feature
saw in the jimmy thread talk about bands where every track is great and this is probably the biggest discog where thats the case for me. just ran through everything and every second of music this bands made is special and essential. love them
Found this video of one of the shows I was at in 2009, and it's kind of surreal to see something filmed over my 17-year old shoulder like it's a 3rd person video game.
4/5 of my top songs of the year were from this album 'Ghosts' was my top track of the year However Chevelle was somehow my most listened to artist lol
