Sorry for interrupting the Pneuma love but I never thought I'd listen to a post-emo-alt-rock record in the summer. Maybe it's because temperatures are not so hellish, maybe it's because I'm at a transitional moment in my life and I need to let go to a lot of people and places (you might say that I have to prune some lower limbs myself) or maybe it's because they nail this type of sound and atmosphere perfectly, but POTLL is a Top 5 AOTY at the moment.
pneuma is my goat, super curious to hear how those songs translate with age ngl i havent really felt to compelled to spin this album nearly as much as i expected, but it is great
new version of 8105 sounds fantastic I think I will spin my Pneuma vinyl today as it is food for the soul
Would be dope to hear a reworked version of Alastika or Grow On Grow Up Grow Out. They should just re-record the whole album
Didn't see it initially on Bandcamp but they were kind enough to reply to me confirming it was added - for those who partake.
Another amazing surprise, very cool to hear these songs 20 years later with all the age and experience that’s gone into them, replacing youthful exuberance with wistfulness and nostalgia. And the guitar on Cover the Roots sounds incredible.
Guitar tones on both of these are just wild, production is so lush. Lots of great music has come out lately so I have pivoted a bit but late September into October leading up to the show, I’m gonna be keeping this at the top of the rotation
New light version of 8105 is one of my favorite songs, new version sounds dope and made me tear up right before work this morning lol
Just getting around to the new versions of these songs and damn they are beautiful. Both feel so fresh.
Really didn’t think it would after the first few listens but I’m in the same boat now too I think. Still listening almost every day.
