Been the one that every time I get to on a listen I think "yeah, this is a special album." The first two lead into it so well and then it just has that emotional kick to it that gets me.
Trying to single out favorites is like choosing a favorite child, but I find myself gravitating to Design Ideas, Voices, and Wedding Clothes as standouts

Well for me there is something about the cold weather and their music, a few months back I was driving around before sunrise and their music was hitting perfectly
Is there any word about them touring a little further out? I remember listening to eastern leaves and being like oh damn he is probably done touring
Yeah, this is the only record I want to listen to at the moment. Kinda bummed that it came out the same day as Greet Death because that album really hasn’t clicked for me yet and I think it’s because this record just has too strong a hold on me. I’ve had Cars stuck in my head all week. There’s so many ear worms on this.
hey! long time lurker on AP and chorus, this album's made me wanna dive in and chat a bit. i cannot believe how much this album has continued to grow on me despite already hitting hard on the first listen. first time in years that an album has grabbed me this way, the first time since Keep You by PBTT that i've not even considered picking a favourite because the whole thing is just such a gorgeous listen. maybe later down the line there'll be a highlight but for now it's reminding me a lot of how Waves grabbed me as an album almost immediately, such a wonderful rarity so, so thankful they're back. not holding out hope that they'll be touring in the UK but i hope those going to their short US run have the best time!
This record is slowly sinking under my skin. Ghosts' chorus pops up in my head any time of the day and Blue's outro "I'm trying not to lose myself when it's easy" hits me like a ton of bricks.
It’s funny because I’m the same way but opposite. I love this record but can’t stop listening to the Greet Death one and as a result this one hasn’t sunk in quite as much just yet.
I was doing some food prep yesterday while listening to this on the bluetooth speaker and my partner was about to leave for work. I usually hug and kiss her before she goes to work. While we were hugging the line “Stay just for a minute before you leave for work,” from All Here played and we kissed for another minute. It was magical. Sorry for the dose of corniness; it was just such a nice moment.
Man, the intro/opening riff to Cars is so good and they never play it again in the song. I see it as such a flex - to write a part that good and never play it again; somehow the song doesn’t even suffer from it.
