Bought all 3 variants so far... will make for a good July 4th post in this thread in 1 year after I have them all in hand.

 

Yeah, I got the first 2 variants so that means I'll eventually have to get #3..

 

I did buy the first two, but I am not sure I would survive the teasing from my wife if I spent $120 for three copies of one album. Every flat square package at the door from now until forever would be a punchline waiting to happen

Been alternating between this, Greet Death, Wolves in the Throne Room, and Dinosaur Jr.

 

I have a running joke with my wife when they show up, she says, “let me guess, you ordered this a long time ago”. Not sure why I ever thought that was a good justification haha.

I did order the third press. Have to fully support this revelation of them returning.

Same. Whole catalog been on repeat basically all week. Just … in awe of this one. The kinda album I hope I find every year and is rare and so fulfilling when we get it.

 

Yeah this is basically all I want to listen to right now.

 

Recency bias aside I think this might be their best album

 

This is such a lyrical masterpiece, and it’s perfect how the tracks are open to interpretation. Absolutely brilliant work.

 

I think Blue might be the most alluring track to me lyrically. Just hits in such a crazy way the way I receive it. Can’t even describe how perfectly it fits right now.

Why am I a week late to this..... I now remember why I was super into this band. This album is amazing.

 

This quite possibly could end up being my AOTY. It's either this or the new Arms Length record.
