Woke up and I'm listening to it again, so glad for us hahh! I also feel it's so much brighter, reminds me of some of "Parallel Lives" by gates or "Wait for Love" by PBTT, but as I said, definitely its own thing
Holy fuck “Snow on Norris Street” where did you come from? This album is everything I wanted and more, constant great moments.
I've no idea why this happens on bandcamp, but oftentimes when I preorder an album digitally, it won't be available at midnight on release day, or even at 8 AM est on the release day... seems like it's a random time sometimes. It's pretty annoying.
It has to be made public on Bandcamp first and pretty sure this is done manually, could be any time today!
Huh, you would figure that the Bandcamp dev team would have made this an automated process by now, but alas
Wedding clothes brought me to tears. This is so incredible. It’s cliche to say when a band comes back from a break but this really is an encapsulation of their career up to now. It certainly is most similar to self titled but the driving tempos are very waves and the deeply layered textures call back to pneuma a lot too.
Bout to throw this on. I revisited Waves at the gym yesterday and wow that record is underrated imo. Completely forgot about some stuff on there like Parts In Different Places. What a song
Did they self-produce this? The mix on this album is flawless. My only concern was that this would sound like a solo album, but all of the instruments sound so good. So happy to be listening to a new Moving Mountains album in 2025. It's everything I hoped it would be. I wanted the outro for "Houses" to go for at least another minute.
