No fucking way that album came out in 2011. A lot of bands making me feel old lately lol

Cool to hear them mention Copeland on the pod and how they were possibly an influence over the years.

Maybe another next week but I'd be cool with just one given how short the rollout is.

in all fairness ixora and blushing changed a lot of what i think of when i think "copeland influence" in 2025 and they didnt exist yet

    D'oh! Prestigious

It was about all of their career, mentioned seeing bands like Copeland, Armor For Sleep and As Tall As Lions live around 2004, but with Copeland it's very clear for the s/t, they even went to Matt Goldman to record. What I could see could take it a bit further in the future is maybe a MovMou song with a feature from Aaron ;u

a burst and I'm awake now Supporter

Could not agree with this more. It’s been a cold, dry start to winter here and this last week I’ve been walking around most mornings listening to Pneuma and the Prawn split, in the cold air with the sun on my shoulders this music moves me in a way nothing else does, it just amplifies the pure joy of being alive and out in nature

  12. There is never enough love for Abby Normal, probably their catchiest song

I’m guilty of that. It’s a great song but it’s always been overshadowed by Deathless and Seas on that split, probably my favorite songs by each respective band. Side note: I’d kill for a Prawn reunion.

Greg has also been posting mini blogs on their site. Good info on the recording and such. I love the simplicity of the web site.

4 days. This comes out the day I move back to my hometown to be closer to my dad who is in decline. Lot of emotions and uncertainty with the move. This album, like their last, is gonna help me through a big transition.
