Forgot that Burton PeeWee’s Big Adventure, also liked that one

 

I wanna say that was one we watched in Paul's house. Def not in theaters.

 

All I remember from takers is the line that’s something like “we’re takers, that’s what we do, take things”

 

it gave us this song, which i loved playing while driving 12 years ago

 

You can’t mention “Takers” without its horribly Photoshopped official poster.

 

They did a whole slew of those after the Paris one. I think there's Rio, too.

Yeah it exists. It isn’t good though.

 

Those movies exist because you have too many actors who are just Some Guy.

 

I honestly wonder how many scripts get reviewed by companies each year. And like, did “This Means War” get the green light because the overworked intern who decides was exhausted and just wanted to go home or what lol. So much shit gets made I can only imagine what doesn’t get made.

And I know they don’t actually read the full script so it’s gotta be like a resume or a cover letter trying to sell the movie and I’d really like to see what some of those “hook” sentences would be, especially for something like This Means War.

And lastly, whoever decided that cover should be fired on the spot. Nothing about that cover makes me interested in even flipping it over to see what it’s about lol
