I’m a huge Jason Ritter guy and yes that might be one of the worst movies I’ve seen also

I have seen it and from what I remember they tried to make it like The Big Chill but for millennials

That was what it was being pushed as at the time, accurate or not. It’s why it’s even on my radar to watch someday at all.

dave chappelle is in this movie! so is calista flockhart and matthew perry! and it’s directed by the guy who’d go on to make edge of tomorrow and the bourne identity (and fucking chaos walking)

Savage Steve Holland made a name for himself in the 80s with Better Off Dead and One Crazy Summer but this was the movie that derailed his film career. It was on cable a lot last year and I get the satire but it just wasn’t funny.

“About Alex” is another example of what I call “White whine” movies.

this is/was one of those movies that was on the $5 rack at Walmart for years and when I worked in electronics in high school I would see this cover every day and never once did I think of watching it or even reading the back cover lol

Speaking of, while I love the show and it definitely exists, every time I go to WinCo, they have Children's Hospital season 3 on DVD just sitting there lol

I saw it once via Pay Per View at my grandparent's lakehouse back when it was new. I remember liking it, so there was a rewatch last year. Definitely up there with late 90's-early 2000's young adult thrillers like Killing Mrs Tingle, Anti-Trust, Swimfan, Joy Ride, etc, maybe a little better.

A few days ago a Twitter thread asked people what movie on their Letterboxd has the least number of logged views by other people and this was right down there for me.

Actually, that might be a fun idea: go to Letterboxd, sort your films by popularity, and see which is the least popular, meaning the least logged. Mine is Paraguay Remembered.

Non-doc/stand-up for me is a movie about the DC sniper called Blue Caprice

Near the bottom of my list is A Madea Christmas, which I think says more about the Letterboxd audience than general tastes.

Mine is a film that one of my teachers in high school's sons made that premiered at the Philly film festival and we watched in film class. I was shocked that it was on there. Other notable non popular films:
    Vegas Vampires
    Mr. Jingles
    Uncle P
    Imaginaria
The Resurrection of Michael Myers Part 2
Bookies (Which is weird, I remember a ton of copies of this being at Blockbuster in the 00s)

    EDIT:

    Yeah that fits in here

  24. I've got a bunch of Vinegar Syndrome-adjacent stuff. The Violence Movie, What Happens Next Will Scare You, The AGFA Horror Trailer Show, The Basement, and Video Violence 2 (which is a real shame).
