this movie was depressing as hell. that's all i remember about it.

 

I also love this movie! But yes, as someone who tried (trying?) to make a career in comedy and fell short of my childhood expectations, it is a tough watch for sure.

saw it before, it's... quite something

 

I tried watching this and thought it was terrible, turned it off after 40ish minutes

 

Pat’s right that lots of good movies are going to be thrown as grist for the streaming mill and get forgotten

 

Swiss Army Man is a great movie with a great score by Andy Hull

I'd have to rewatch to see how it holds up, but I went through a mumblecore phase in college and absolutely loved this movie

I was at a Pens game that Cranston and Carell were at because they filmed that in Pittsburgh.

 

That one's pretty good, imo. Very well-acted at minimum.

 

Joe swanberg is good, love his Netflix show
