My girlfriend and I are a fan of the band but before I met her she saw them at a free concert at a casino and said their set was atrocious.

Oh I saw them at a free concert like.... 5? years ago and it was embarrassing, huge bummer

  3. I saw them right around the time American Movie II came out at a radio festival here in SLC. It was cool. Met the band afterward too and they signed a frisbee for me that I still have. Some of their set was filmed and used in their Behind the Music episode on VH1.

Pardon if this has already been posted in this thread but this movie #1 grossing box office film on 9/11/2001 and i didn't even know it existed until recently. Apparently it was an attempt to do a Wuxia/Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon take on Alexandre Dumas works.

I'd nominate almost anything featuring Scott Eastwood for this thread.

Everyone I know saw Just Friends. Maybe I’m just old now though

Yeah, Just Friends doesn't fit the theme of this thread

I feel like this was a pretty popular movie? Me and my friends would watch it every year in high school haha. Just rewatched it last night (it's on Netflix for those curious)

  19. I def feel like it belongs in this thread but maybe I was on another planet when it was released, shocked to hear it's "great" considering that poster

Oh, it's definitely a product of its time and a lot of it is fueled by nostalgia for me. There are plenty of hilarious moments, though. The fat suit is only for just one scene in the beginning.

My fiancé made me way Just Friends a few days. Unless you have nostalgia for it, I can’t see someone liking it in 2021. I was not here for the slurs and fat phobia.

sucks that if you watch any comedy from the 2000s there's at least a 60% chance there will be slurs in there that you forgot were there, looking at you Bring It On and Mean Girls

Yep, She’s All That disgruntled me when I watched that earlier this year because of it in a few scenes (among some other things that I least remembered but knew would be problematic)
