I remember seeing a preview of it somewhere and thinking “hmm, interesting” and then literally never hearing or seeing anything about it until seeing that post

 

It’s perfectly solid. Well acted all around.

I worked at a little 2 screen theater when this was out and it did fairly well. Lasted quite a while actually.

Lol I remember The Stupids and Big Bully. Classic

 

Also just looked it up—the same director did Animal House, and had the same guy play Neidermeyer in both Animal House and The Stupids

 

I had to google this because I was sure I hallucinated this movie as a child - surely there wouldn't be a movie about a girl who goes blind from high diving horses into a swimming pool, too ludicrous a premise to have even been a sport let alone a movie

I feel like remakes are cheating a bit, but had completely forgotten they redid this in 2015

The American Movie albums were the beginning of their decline though… And then Invisible Stars came out and was a great return to form. But then Black is the New Black came out… woof

Everclear pretty much died when the other original members quit.

 

SFAAM V1 LHTS is my favorite Everclear album somedays, super underrated.

The original trio definitely was the band's peak though, too bad they couldn't keep it together
