Movies That Didn’t Actually Happen • Page 67

  1. The Thing prequel, alongside The Strangers, is a movie I always enjoy while I'm watching it and then forget the moment it ends. I watched it within the past three months and can remember MAYBE two scenes. All I remember about The Strangers is the ending and Glenn Howerton being in it lol.

well, blumhouse would like if everyone thought they never happened

  4. Honestly didn't hate The Gallows as someone who enjoys found footage/dumb horror movies but the second one is one of the worst films I've ever tried to sit through. Couldn't finish it

I couldn't tell you what this movie was about and this is the only scene that I can recall. I remember the latter coming out of nowhere, and my friends and I looking at each others in confusion.

I can probably look this up but I swear that’s like the third or fourth movie that Knoxville and Chan have “starred” in together, unless everyone just keeps posting the same movie and I forget the title which would also be very fitting for such a thread lol

Last Flag Flying was so awful. Linklater is one of the most uneven directors of all time.

Linklater is one of those directors who I'm always surprised to find out a film was his. I had no idea that School of Rock and the Bad News Bears remake were his work until a couple of years ago. I'm only just finding out Last Flag Flying was his (though I never saw it. It looked so bland).

If it's drama and it stars Steve Carell or Will Smith, 9 times out of 10 it's likely gonna suck and I like both of them.

Cant tell if I’m shocked they starred in something together that wasn’t Step Brothers 2 or starred together in anything after Step Brothers. I imagine most people wanted this to be SB2 and I’m sure they probably didn’t really give a shit it wasn’t but man, knowing how popular Step Brothers is I would not want to risk trying to match or top that again by working with Will (or vice versa) but oddly fitting they star in a beloved comedy and then something that no one remembers lol

unfortunately I very much remember this as it was probably the worst movie I’ve seen

  22. Yeah that movie sucked. There’s a part where one of them is a kid and sucks a tear back up his cheek and it goes back into his eye, and that part made me laugh so hard for some reason. That was the only thing I laughed out loud at in the whole movie haha.

I feel bad that Lauren Lapkus was a co-star in it and was probably excited that it might be her big break. Then she barely mentioned it on any podcasts she was on during that time and you knew it was gonna be awful.
