because people are dumbasses and the data shows most people turn off a video within the first 5 seconds if they don't watch it, so in response movie studios pack a shit ton in the first 5 seconds to get viewers locked in. It's dumb, but it works. And it works really well

Everything about this movie is baffling.

 

The Warcraft movie made more money in China than it did in the United States. It is an interesting phenomenon; an American movie that is essentially made more for a specific overseas audience than it is the home audience.
