I walked out of a movie that doesn’t exist

 

I wanna say the Doughboys did some punch-ups on that. But yeah, it does not exist.

 

Sandler (movies) are fine, most are just whatever, Big Daddy is one of his best. Sandler (the person) sucks.

Grinch is great. It's got everything, swingers, a woman horny for a green and hair monster man, self depreciation and self loathing, a cute dog. What's not to love?

I remember reading It's Kind of a Funny Story and it was fine? Don't necessarily see why it should have been a movie. I don't think I've walked out of a theater as an adult but then again I don't really see that many shitty movies

 

I don't think I've ever walked out of a movie as an adult, but I vividly remember - as a kid that watched a ridiculous amount of movies of wildly varying quality and always finished them - renting and starting The Long Kiss Goodnight, but shutting it off and not finishing it. I still to this day have no idea why I didn't like that movie so much as to shut it off. I've heard/read people reference it fondly over the years.

Some of the company he keeps does, but every personal interaction I've read about him online seems very sweet and normal?

 

I grew up a few towns over from where Sandler went to high school and I guess he has done the graduation commencement speech there a few times, seems like a chill guy

 

He is a Republican.

 

I'm going to bring back the Kanye "but he made Graduation" memes except it's going to be "he made The Waterboy"

 

This maybe fits here, but if not, it counts for the 'movies I've walked out of' discussion. Very bizarre movie that's approach to its serious subject matter just was so far off the mark for me. No idea if it all came together by the end, but I'd seen enough.



EDIT -it 100% doesn't fit here as Christopher Plummer (RIP) won an oscar but still a movie I hated.

My dad loved Shane Black scripted movies when I was a kid. He had me watch The Long Kiss Goodnight and The Last Boy Scout on VHS when I was like 8 lol

 

I loved this movie growing up. Would rent it from the library constantly when I was a kid, But I feel like to most it didn't happen. Wild cast too

I've always wondered, and I've been meaning to check it out sometime, but whenever I get a chance to watch something I usually try to catch something new

 

Yeah it's pretty good.

Speaking of here is a movie that didn't happen: In 2015 when that sex pest hack Max Landis basically was like "what if The Long Kiss Goodnight was also a stoner movie!"
