Would be fascinating to be apart of Netflix accounting meetings. I don’t understand how they piss away so much money and are still a business/operational
Heh, watch Hulu or Max or whoever make a documentary 5-10 years now about the fall of Netflix that is more memorable every film they ever made, would be fitting lol
netflix should change their business model to 'we throw anything & everything at the wall and see what sticks'
rotten tomato says 'In a futuristic world that imposes a cosmetic surgery at 16, Tally is eager for her turn to join the rest of society. But when a friend runs away, Tally embarks on a journey to save her that upends everything she thought she wanted.'
I dropped Netflix over a year ago and now every original I see come out of there looks like a fake movie to me
“The plot centers around a future post-apocalyptic dystopian society in which people are considered "ugly" until they become "pretty" by enduring extensive cosmetic surgery at the age of 16.” Ah yes, those all look like really ugly people in that poster.
Yeah the books are actually pretty decent. And very well known, so it’s weird the adaptation didn’t get more fanfare.
