Seeing Cuba Gooding Jr. in a movie like that makes sense at this point, but seeing Michael Madsen in one is very strange and seeing his name billed last clearly signifies that he's collecting a check in a very limited featured role lol
I don't know why I thought that was an Andy Samberg movie and not a John Krasinski movie. Memories do some funny stuff.
It's interesting to look back at how huge shows like American Idol and Survivor were. They would become minor celebrities, at least for a while. Nothing has really had that cultural impact since then.
I’ve thought about this exact thing so often. I guess it’s just an over saturation of the market now, but yeah the celebrity status they would skyrocket to for a short while (though I suppose Kelly found a way to make it stick for a lifetime) is so interesting compared to what it is now. When would be the period the last really big reality show stars came out of? Those Pawn Star guys? The duck family?
Watched this recently and was shocked that they were love interests and not like best friends or something.
