The first one was harmless enough. But can’t imagine why it needed a sequel.

Clearly it Didn’t Happen.

 

I watched this today. It is the most aggressively 2000's movie I have ever seen. I laughed once, when one of the signs of her disability is that she wanted to go to a Dane Cook show, but I think the South Park episode made that joke first with Kid Rock.

 

It was supposed to come out like a week or two after COVID really hit hard and lockdown happened, so it got released on Prime where no one watched it.

Very bizarre short film. But what do you expect from the director of Get Hard?

 

With a little adjusting it would have been a mainstream early 2000's comedy. Arrested Development had a similar bit and that was when it was a critical darling.

 

Honestly the best part is that the movies you can see at the store perfectly point to 2006-2007.

I saw this movie as a child and, to this day, I thought I made it up or had some weird mandala effect and confused it with Freaked. Nope - it's real.

I initially confused that with Dead Man on Campus, another movie that may or may not have happened.

 

Big Man on Campus is a masterpiece and my family bought three copies of the blu ray that FINALLY came out from Kino Lorber a few months ago. I’ve never met a single person anywhere who has heard of it.

 

I vaguely knew about it because I think in the early days of Comedy Central when they only had the budget to air forgettable comedies would have this one on.

 

I will forever associate giant bongs with Mark-Paul Gosselaar because of that movie.
