I always wanted to see this growing up and could never find it and that makes me sad because I'm sure if I watched it now it would be bad
The Night Before exists for sure. A solid holiday movie. Not an every year holiday watch, but it works its way into the rotation every few years.
I would have thought this was a movie buried by the pandemic. Reading the backstory on this is kind of crazy. Filmed in 2014 and slated for release in 2015 or 2016, but then the distribution company went bankrupt. Someone finally picked it up in 2019 but apparently it’s a huge turd of a movie. That, plus the widespread knowledge of Franco being a POS by its release, it kind of makes sense why it doesn’t actually exist.
This one is really fucking with me because I truly have zero recollection of ever even hearing about it but I guess it makes sense as to why.
It seemed to be totally fake considering the gibberish cast and crew names at the bottom, and www.moviename.com lol.
Sounds like someone has never witnessed the villainous antics of Darius Emanuel Grouch III “The Rumble.”
American Pickle might actually be the most fitting movie in the thread, since Max took it down and it was never (to my knowledge) released on physical media. It ACTUALLY doesn't exist.
JustWatch says it’s available to rent/buy on multiple sites, including Amazon. But yeah the trend of sites taking down stream-exclusive content is extremely fucked up. There needs to be some kind of automatic public domain site for all the misfit shows/movies that get thrown away like that
