Jon Heder may be one of the biggest flops of an actor I've ever seen. Riding on the waves of Napoleon Dynamite even now just doing convention after convention, but all his work afterwards kept getting worse and worse
I owned Mr. Woodcock and School for Scoundrels on DVD when I was in middle school lol Very Saving Silverman-adjacent films
I don’t know if I’d call him a flop. Napoleon Dynamite exploded out of no where but it’s not like he was some great actor.
He definitely knew his fame was limited, so he took everything that was thrown at him. He got the bag and made the most of it by starring in some of the worst stuff in the 2000s.
Apparently he did an interview where he talks about how he doesn't want to do raunchy comedies and he just likes doing fun little PG films and such. I guess he just doesn't actually want to be a star, which is kind of nice to see. Edit: This is based off of brief research I just did as I was googling his IMDB to list off the dozen terrible movies he did riggt after Napoleon Dynamite.
Blades of Glory is solid and Benchwarmers is actually not too bad. I hate saying this but it is pretty easily Rob Schneider’s best performance.
The one time I went to a Drive In double feature was in the spring of 2006, friends and I saw RV (the forgettable Robin Williams movie) and Benchwarmers and I definitely got more laughs out of the latter.
It's on HBO right now, the line "it's cool that you still handwrite things, it's old school" was just uttered by young Schwarzenegger
Nah, you gotta meet your demons in person, or you might get swindled and end up with a goat with wings glued on.
