the one who wears the high school sports jacket? I think that’s the oldest son (googling pics of the show and that’s the only t-Rex I can find) but yes, definitely looks more like him being the same dino but amusingly Theodore Rex has Earl’s body / shape, what a combo lol Also separate side note - the grandma fucking creeped me out as a kid and still does. That whole show is just so bizarre and weird to me. It always felt and visually looked very dark and as a kid and even now I don’t know what it was supposed to be. A comedy a drama-dy? It succeed but man, some of those characters really freaked me out and grandma was always at the top of the list lol
I have seen this movie more times than any other movie. My little brother and I watched it weekly all through middle school and probably the first two years of high school.
I do have a soft spot for the mid-'90s black guy, white guy buddy crime comedy. Blue Streak counts even if they didn't put Luke Wilson on the poster. Obviously Rush Hour as well, but that one is on another level of good.
Bernie Mac is so funny in this, I still say "Jangle Leg, Jangle Leg". But I've also not seem it in years and his character might be really problematic.
Life is fantastic and definitely happened. So many hilarious lines and scenes in that. I remember liking Bulletproof as well. And yeah wow the 90's really did love their black guy/white guy buddy comedies. Wonder what started off that trend. White Men Can't Jump? Or maybe it started in the 80s. Running Scared was mid 80s haha
Yeah, I thinks it's still a holdover from the '80s with Running Scared, 48 Hrs, Lethal Weapon etc., but eventually they were like what if they're both criminals/unlikeable.
Yeah Blue Steak def doesn't belong in this thread IMO. I feel like most millennials remember it. Buuuut I guess it's not one people regularly think about so maybe?
