I can’t think of any examples at the immediate moment but it’s funny how there are certain actors only known for a super small role (iconic or not). I imagine a lot people only knew Eugene Levy from American Pie (same with Stiffler’s mom, can’t remember her name unfortunately) and now a new generation may only know him from Schitt’s Creek (and Stiffler’s mom from White Lotus) granted those roles are in multi season tv shows not just a movie role. I know a lot of folks that only know Carl Weathers from AD for “you got a stew going”.
Kate Beckinsale is an A-lister of this thread. Only so many stars make it so big while having so few memorable films.
Arrested Development was definitely the first time I was aware of Weathers. I had seen Happy Gilmore multiple times but he never stood out as a kid.
I didn't say Predator because maybe a lot of 90s/early 2000s kids hadn't seen it but that's another one
The Carl Weathers thing is actually a legitimate phenomenon. I've had plenty of times where I've seen an actor or actress before but never recognized them as being who they were until I'd seen them in some other memorable role down the road, and then I'll go back through their work and be like "Oh! They were that person?!" It's kind of fun.
I could have sworn he was in a golf movie but an unsuccessful search through IMDB has me questioning everything
Do him and Jim Carrey hit some golf balls in Bruce Almighty? I can't remember. He's definitely hit some golf balls in some movie I feel like haha
her and Milla Jovovich were like look I'm making action movies no one watches with my husband fuck you and I respect that
Speaking of Kate Beckinsale, YouTube just recommended I rent this movie Looking at this cast, this was the last Robin Williams movie ever released.
