feel like most people in a certain age bracket have a strong enough awareness of that one

 

I definitely watched it as a kid but completely forgot about its existence

 

Umm that happened SO HARD. I've seen that movie at least 50 times.

It's probably pretty problematic, I haven't seen it in at least 20 years

 

That one being brought up reminds of the less family friendly Krippendorf’s Tribe. Now THAT one is problematic

 

Yeah it definitely looks problematic, I don't remember anything about its plot though

Tim Allen learns he has a son who was raised in the jungle of Africa and then that son moves to New York. Hijinks ensue. That's my memory of it. It's like Elf but instead of an elf from the north pole it's a white kid from the jungle

 

bro I rented this on vhs at least 3 times, it exists in the same universe as getting even with dad and man of the house

 

I saw this multiple times as a kid before I ever saw The Godfather or Casino so I still think of this whenever I watch them.

No joke. For some reason, I thought about this movie the other day and thought about putting in here. Definitely of that genre of PG Walt Disney live action movies that weirdly had a bunch if sex jokes, like the Chevy Chase “Man Of The House.”
