That is both a wild movie and not wild enough.

 

I can confirm that this movie, unfortunately, did happen.

 

Used to play that game on my dads Mac computer

 

I remember as a kid thinking the trailer for this looked so cool

 

What's so bizarre to me is we could have had Mark Hamill (who voiced the games) but instead they did an "origin" with Freddie Prinze Jr.

What a choice.

 

I was an asshole teen that yelled out how much this sucked during one particularly terrible scene and some dude next to me got pissed and told me to shut up, haha.

 

Does anyone remember Divx back in the 90s? They were DVDs you bought in store but were only watchable for 48 hours. A failed attempt to compete with Blockbuster, and in hindsight a colossal waste of plastic and manufacturing.

Well anyway, this was the first movie my family bought a Divx for. It was terrible.

I remember needing a DIVX plugin to watch movie on my computer pre-VLC Player.

 

Look a lot of shit gets posted in here that im like ah yea I vaguely remember that or remember it and of course it’s a shit movie but I have genuinely never heard of this one. Might be the winner for me. And looking up the director was a treat
