I have AMC's and their theater is much closer but the second Regal drops theirs I'm switching over haha
Regal has two normal theatres here and one $4 theatre and I'm so excited for a future with Regal taking over.
Fun. mine says "cancellation failed" and I'm freaking out bc I literally don't have enough in my bank account to cover our two passes rn. If I don't hear from them by tomorrow I'm just going to handle it bank-side.
You could try changing your payment details to some random numbers so that the charge doesn't go through. Had seen a few people in the subreddit talk about that, not sure if it would work though.
do any of y’all remember when you first signed up for the service and you thought it was too good to be true? turns out you were right
talking about the current state more than anything. I love movie pass, it just isn’t what it once was and if you can’t see that then I don’t know what to tell you...
Yeah sorry... I just got sick of all the people crawling out of the woodwork lately for easy dunks on MoviePass users. I didn’t remember seeing you posting in here before so I just assumed that’s what was going on. My bad
It just sucks that they didn't have anyone with beyond a first grade comprehension of mathematics on the board. MoviePass could have been extremely successful had they done a few things up front to limit the hemorrhaging and find other sources of revenue rather than just subscription fees.
I am very happy to have taken advantage of the horrible mistake they originally made while still being able to benefit from a really good deal until they inevitably cave
current state really isnt that bad as of yesterday. I dont care about blackouts until my next billing period as long as they follow through with 3 movies a month, no surge charges, minimum blackouts, for $10.
Managed to use mine again tonight to see The First Purge. Looks like it's leveling out and starting to become usable again
think I might try and use it tomorrow in the Bay Area if I have time. I still need to see Teen Titans go to the movies.
A-List is pretty nice. Wanted to see Christopher Robin today while I’m off and the closest AMC wasn’t showing it (baffling) so I drove to one a little further away and it’s actually pretty nice, which surprised me. Went to walk outside and the rain was pouring, so immediately turned it into a double feature.
