Hah okay now I'm pissed. Just drove to go see Incredibles 2 at 340.... get to theater. It vanished. No longer up. In fact.... every movie until 9 vanished. Idk if this is a glitch but it's a Monday afternoon. Some of these movies have been out for a month. Now I'm unhappy
yeah my plan as of this morning was to grab a ticket during lunch to Three Identical Strangers for right after work, but of course by the time lunch came around that showing was no longer listed. It looks like I may not be seeing anything tonight, because everything I haven't seen and want to see is disappearing from the app before I can get to the theater.
so basically they are going to pull off the terrible stuff they are doing right now and then on the 15th everything magically goes back to normal?
Still a good deal for me. I do average around 3 a month, so that is okay for me. During Oscar season when I go more I can still save. One movie saves me money. It’s still a good deal, even if it’s not as good as it used to be. I wish they would be more specific on what new movies will be blocked. A few exceptions is very vague.
my sister in law says that she's just been complaining to their customer service when they dont have a showtime up and they manually check her in to the movie she wants to see. dunno how accurate that is, but it's worth a shot i suppose.
Fun: went into the app to see if the blackout was over so I could use it before my sub terminates on the 11th. Lo and behold my account is showing as still active and when I tried to cancel, it told me that it failed! Just great. Submitted a support ticket, but I'm sure it won't matter. If I don't hear back from them by the 9th, I'm asking my bank to block charges to our cards. If you cancelled recently, I would check on your account ASAP.
I just decided to check and only three movies show up per theatre and all night time showings. I'm never using this again.
I honestly can't believe anyone still uses this service. It's basically saying you are completely comfortable with a company doing whatever they want with your money. They've been jerking everyone around this whole time and just because the deal is decent at best right now after a ton of "stumbles" there's nothing to keep them from changing it again over the weekend.
I already cancelled mine but I'm just waiting for Regal to stop messing around and announce theirs already.
My app still shows a next billing date of August 9. I went to cancel again and after filling out everything it says "you have already cancelled your account". I think at least in my case it's just that the app doesn't show updated information.
