I wonder if they have a spending cap each day and that’s why all of the showings disappear later at night.
if Megaplex theaters eventually do their own version of Movie Pass, i'll be all over that. since all this hoolabaloo has started though, i haven't really come across any issues (other than the dumb surge pricing) but i've been noticing that if you check into a movie earlier in the day, sometimes it won't have surge pricing on there yet. since i just live across the street from my theater, it's not too big of a hassle to waddle my tail feathers over there early to pick up a ticket. hashtag blessed
On mine as well. Interesting. Have plans to see it with a buddy so not going to try to check in, yet. Might use my break at work to check into a showing of Eighth Grade if it's still listed. Who knows at this point.
Saw Fallout last night, hopefully I can see Eighth Grade tonight. No eticketing at that theater so hopefully it shows up with no surge pricing.
At the theater I mentioned that does e-ticketing, Christopher Robin and Mission Impossible are showing up as normal. Might try to squeeze it in before they ~change their minds~.
yeah I saw MI last night and Christopher Robin is showing for me. Maybe eticketing is exempt from restrictions for now
Pretty sure the blockages don't apply to e-ticket theaters. At least that's how it's been so far. Hence why MI:Fallout isn't blocked at e-ticket theaters but is at regular theaters. I wish my e-ticket theater was closer :(
Yeah my closest e ticketing theater is at least 25 miles out and in Austin traffic that’s a no go, at that point I’d rather pay and go across the street. Looks like I’m checking in for the equalizer and watching sorry to bother you again.
Does it say “There are no more screenings at this...”? I’m getting that with all but three theatres, and I don’t understand why those three are apparently special
yeah no where in the whole area has available screenings and this truly does suck because I work the best movie watching hours.
Same here, and the e-ticketing theaters just have like Equalizer and Skyscraper and Spy Who Dumped Me. That last one might be alright but I'm not gonna rush out to see it And Christopher Robin, but saving that to see with my daughter
at this point I'm hoping I can see a matinee screening of Spy Who Dumped Me which is insane that that's not a given haha
All my theaters and showtimes surprisingly stayed normal all afternoon and evening. Was able to catch Ant Man and The Wasp finally and it was a lot of fun.
