The idea of having to wait a couple of weeks for bigger releases isn't something that bothers me too much. I tend not to rush out to see a movie right away already in hopes that the crowds will lessen in a week or two after release. I could definitely see why this would be a breaking point for others though. When I was younger I rushed to see movies right away, many times going to the midnight release of them.
This post on Reddit has been kept pretty up to date on status of check-ins. However, showtimes/movies seem to be disappearing and reappearing randomly.
I’m using mine tonight for mission impossible. Had to use the pass on a different movie and I will just walk into mission impossible. Easy to do where I’m at.
How would they know though? The only thing they do to require verification is ask you to take a picture of the stub, which you can do and then just go into a different theater.
Hell yeah. It popped up right before I left town and was still there when I got to the theater! Thank god my last Moviepass movie isn’t going to be Skyscraper.
This is what I’m planning to do in the future. There’s always a couple kids movies I won’t be seeing that I can check into instead Lol
my last movie was skyscraper because I'm lazy and I don't want to deal with hoping my card doesn't work or not
Anyone know what their email support turnaround is like? E-mailed yesterday morning and haven't gotten anything back at all. Their phone support has been crummy, too, but I can't even cancel from the app so I'm just like...
I emailed them about the app not working in February. They replied in mid-June and didn’t even answer the question I had. They just said sorry
