Yeah it's not the 15 that bothers me so much as blocking new releases and the surge pricing. I looked at going to a movie on Saturday night and literally every movie that was worth seeing was surge pricing.
yeah I'd pay at least double that but peak pricing. no new movies, non-functioning app this entire weekend makes it hard to stay
Could you give me a real answer? I’m genuinely curious cause i don’t know much about him outside of Tesla
Tesla factory workers reveal pain, injury and stress: 'Everything feels like the future but us' Tesla Is Under OSHA Investigation for Worker Safety UAW accuses Musk of threatening Tesla workers over unionization Elon Musk smears Vern Unsworth, Thai cave rescuer, as a pedophile in now-deleted tweet Elon Musk gives half-asses apology to Thai Cave Diver after calling him a pedophile.
YEAH, sorry couldn’t help but respond viscerally. Besides what was already linked, his financial support of wretched politicians, and his self-important bullshit, the submarine for the soccer team stuck in the cave pissed me off. He’s tweeting and attracting all this attention to himself and what he says he’s going to do from behind a keyboard while other people are literally doing it, and in one case dying.
plus I'm pretty sure Moviepass is beyond salvaging at this point and there's way better things that money can buy
Blindspotting was really good. Highly recommend. Even if you dont enjoy it, it will leave you with moments impossible to forget.
Checked the app before I left and everything was good. Drove to the theater and no showtimes in the app. My billing cycle isn't for another 2 weeks so I'm gonna hold off on cancelling to see if they can get this shit worked out but it doesn't look good
Tried canceling and it asks for a reason for canceling. I typed one in and it just kept on saying “need reason for canceling.” I’ll try again when I get home I guess
I just did it there's a scroll down menu you need to click plus you need to give a reason, of course it's absurdly complicated haha
Mitch Lowe is about to charge surge if you want to cancel during peak cancelation hours. Also no mention of price increase in the email they just sent out, so much for transparency.
I just cancelled my subscription. There was just too much coming down the pipeline that didn't make me want to stay. Thankfully, my local theater still has e-ticketing and it's allowing people to use it still, but no other theaters that don't offer it have screenings showing up. I've got my subscription until the 24th, so I just need to see Mission Impossible, Unfriended: Dark Web, Christopher Robin, and ~maybe~ Skyscraper if I get really bored one night, before then. EDIT: In reality though, most of the films I've gone to see recently I've had to pay out of pocket anyway simply because of what the film actually is. I paid to see The Incredibles 2 because I saw it in a double feature with the first in IMAX. I paid to see Princess Mononoke because it was a Fathom event. I paid to see Back to the Future because it was part of "Flashback Cinema." And both of the indie theaters in Ann Arbor (at least from what I've seen) don't show up in the app at all, and I make special trips to see the smaller things they get. I'm just not saving as much as I should be at this point to justify it anymore.
And now my theater is showing no screenings at this time at a cinemark after being available all day . So dumb
