I just want one more month out of this. I want to see MI when it becomes available, eighth grade whenever it comes near me, and The Meg. And maybe black klansman. Then I’ll be happy.
Since I work at a theater, I pretty much only use this when I go to this indie theater that gets all the smaller features we don’t. Maybe that’s why I haven’t had any issues? I dunno. I don’t wanna cancel it but I just don’t like the idea of it always being a gamble
from like mid July to late August was a stretch where I had at least 10 movies planned out and I can't even do one. SAD FACE FOREVER
I'm not giving up until it's totally dead or that the app becomes completely unrealistic (just for eticket theaters)
MoviePass CEO announces in all-hands meeting that tickets to big upcoming movies will not be available on the app This seems somewhat in line with what a user posted on the subreddit earlier. r/MoviePassClub - [MegaThread] Monday, July 30th - MoviePass Behavior Reporting Thread
Just e-ticketing theaters have showtimes for me. Really bummed because I was planning on seeing Eighth Grade, but now the closest option is Hollywood
That reddit comment posted in @SmithBerryCrunch’s last link. I can’t copy and paste it because I’m on mobile and the reddit app sucks... sorry
were people paying month to month for this thing? Or did some people get suckered into paying $120 a couple of months ago only to have the whole service go belly up on them?
I paid for the year at $107. I watched 29 movies in four months. I’ve definitely gotten my money’s worth, but it’s looking like I won’t be getting my time’s worth.
