this whole time I was convinced it was Tom Hardy in Upgrade and it actually wasn't. I am shocked but also that whole movie was so awesome. I hope it does get a sequel.
debating on seeing hotel Artemis Monday in the morning or watching on vacation in a city I'm not familiar with theaters at.
Did upgrade yesterday, doing either Hotel Artemis or Oceans today. I think Oceans will be a better movie but Hotel has my curiosity more, especially with the cast.
I really need to go see a movie. But life is so busy! I gotta get my shit together. There are like 4 -5 movies I need to see.
There’s a couple things l wish Hereditary did better, but I liked it overall. What a performance by Toni Collette. Doing Hotel Artemis tonight as my 15th movie
Hotel Artemis was fun. It’s not amazing by any means but I found it to be enjoyable and it goes by quick.
the story had a bunch of holes, it felt like they had more to say/more story to tell than they had time for but i think it was fine, I had fun with it, the cast was great.
saw upgrade last night. second movie of the weekend. it was ok. didnt even know anything about it before seeing it
I'll support anything with Jeff goldblum in It even if it means watching the new Jurassic Park also. *shrugs*
Finally saw Avengers tonight with my wife who has never seen a single Marvel film all the way through except the first 2 Ironmen and Spider-Man Homecoming and she stormed out of the theater and made me miss the post credits scene and sobbed the whole way home. Lol.
my local movie theater has 10 different movies showing this week and I've seen seven of them lol. the only three I haven't seen are Hereditary, Oceans 8 and Adrift. just me being a stan for moviepass.
I'm going to try and get at least two more movies in this week. I'd say Ocean's 8 and Hotel Artemis are next on my list.
so far for the rest of the month I got The Incredibles 2, Tag, Jurassic World and Uncle Drew. There are some other movies I am interested in, but they all have limited runs and my movie theater isn't the best at getting those.
At this point I’ve seen every movie at my Alamo except three. But I don’t see myself going to Life of the Party...
