I havent been aaked to submit a picture of my ticket yet either and ive seen a movie a week since the beginning of may
I have a feeling they do it in waves. Seems like most people who signed up a while ago got the message a month ago at the same time. Everybody who got it recently doesnt haave to do it. Idk why though. It is a beta thing so maybe they are just testing it out to work out the bugs before making new customers deal with it.
I signed up in January and got the email in April saying I had to start doing it. that was as soon asI started seeing like 2 movies week. maybe that had something to do with it?? Regardless, it takes 2 seconds to submit a picture and doesnt bother me at all.
Yeah I had mine for less than a month before it started making me. Then after another 2 times it started making my ex. He got his a few days before me and has seen all the same movies so. Idk. Either way yeah I don’t really mind at all
I have plans tonight so I decided to watch Action Point right now and there is only 3 other people in the theater right now so I like.
Trying to see The Rider, First Reformed, The House of Tomorrow, and How to Talk To Girls at Parties this week, and then next week is Hereditary and Oceans 8. Summer movie season is officially here!
Seeing Adrift tonight with Action Point to follow tomorrow. I feel like all you need to see with Adrift is in the trailer so I’m glad it won’t cost me any money for the ticket. Edit: just got my tickets for Adrift tonight and see this. My theater and a nice workaround the MoviePass rule.
Also want to see American Animals but I’d have to drive 40 miles into Hollywood to do so I’m 50/50 at this point. Won’t be in OC until 6/22
Was lazy and didn’t use it at all in May. Rectified that by using it three times this weekend. Adrift, Upgrade and Solo. Pretty solid weekend.
I fucking loved Upgrade. A Quiet Place just beats it out for second place of my favorites this year, but not by much.
I've been ranking my 2018 favorites on Letterboxd. It's something I've never done before. Was gonna see How to Talk to Girls at Parties but noticed on its Wiki page -- it's listed as a 2017 movie. Not sure if I should include it or not.
It's one of those weird movies that had its premier in 2017, but then wasn't widely released until a year later. Either way go see it because movie rules
So are we still not allowed to see movies more than once? The app no longer puts the "you've already seen this movie" thing over movies I've seen and it hasn't put anything new in my histroy in like a month.
that seems weird, my movies show up in my history before the previews even roll, and i am locked out of any movie i have already seen. maybe try redownloading the app? but maybe you have some kind of moviepass glitch.
you probably have some kind of glitch. you can try re-downloading the app and it may or may not fix it, but either way, I wouldn't try seeing the same movie twice bc it's still against the TOS and MoviePass has been known to ban people for not following the rules to even when it seems like it's their fault for the app not working right.
You pay just under $9.95/month to see up to one 2D movie per day. If you have free time and enjoy going to the movies it's absolutely worth it. I average 7 movies a month with my highest being 11 in one month.
