Going to see Ghost Stories tonight. Love catching these older releases late on week nights.

 

The parent company for MoviePass' stock has been PLUMMETING the last few days. Go see everything you can, while you can, because it's not looking good for the longevity of MoviePass.

 

Is the end near for MoviePass?

Nothing we didn't already know, but yeah...

 

I really want to go see so many movies that are out right now..just need to stop being lazy and go do it
On my list: Breaking In, I Feel Pretty, Life of the Party, Overboard, Super Troopers 2, & Tully

oh and Hereditary which I think comes out soon

 

The worst part about mociepass going under is that I can't go back to paying $15 a ticket

 

you shouldn't have to. if moviepass dies, we can always go to sinemia which still seems like a great deal even if it's not as good as mp

It’s all facebooks fault. Now it’s frowned upon to sell personal info despite it having been going on for years. I hereby grant permission for moviepass to monetize the shit out of the info they collect as long as I get to keep my 9.99 unlimited

 

I know this is me being weird but I kinda wish they stop doing promotions or discount deals and just stick to $9.99 deal.

 

Got my card in the mail today. Debating going to see something tonight lol.

 

They desperately need new members to get money from though.

Even IF this fails (and it should based on indicators), once Regal and AMC see the difference in theater attendance, you can almost count on them launching some sort of membership program.

 

a few months ago they did a full year thing right, so I feel like they need to at least make it a full year from that

Saw overboard last night. Definitely the kind of movie I would only consider with MP

 

for whatever reason Titanic is playing today at a bunch of theaters near me at 1 oclock (anniversary maybe?) and if it werent for mothers day plans i would love to see that in theaters again (as I was 9 the last time I did lol)

 

Maybe because a lot of younger mothers these days were the ones with Leo posters in their room in fifth grade? What better Mother’s Day gift than to see that hunk on the big screen?

if Ive seen about half the MU movies and barely remember any of them is it worth seeing? The problem I have with the whole Avengers thing is its so hard to keep up. I lost any interest and havent seen a marvel movie since civil war. They all just seem exactly the same to me. like transformers.
