I've seen the equivalent of one movie a week, minus one, so far this year. Looking forward to keeping that up. There's always something playing that I want to see. Like, it wasn't a problem even in the January-February period like I expected it to be.
My wife and I ordered our cards on 2/28--still nothing. Can't wait until we can go to the movies again...
Between the AMC on the common being added back in and Kendall Square being added (with e-ticketing on top of that) this thing just got a pretty great bump in value in boston.
Damn, got my card within a week of ordering. Was expecting a crazy long wait based off of comments in here. My condolences to anyone who is still waiting or had to wait a month+
So in my current town, there are two movie theaters literally across the street from one another, and the timing worked really well, so I caught Ready Player One and Black Panther tonight. Went to Goodrich for RPO and used one of those passes, and then went across the street to the AMC and used Moviepass for Black Panther. I didn't really like either movie that much, unfortunately, but hey, what are you gonna do?
what exactly is the e-ticketing? I wish u could reserve your tickets online like fandango and chose your seat instead of going to the theatre.
E-ticketing is this thing where some theater companies can just enter a code into their system, as opposed to actually scanning the card they send you in the mail. It's really useful while you're waiting for your card to arrive.
you can do this with e ticketing. you can only buy tickets for showtimes that day though, but you could get tickets in the morning for a showtime that night.
oh man my theatres need this asap. do you still need to be within 100 years of the theatre though to pick your seat?
I remember complaining to my friend on how not many good comedies were out but then comes blockers and game night to help fix that.
Caught Isle of Dogs yesterday. Have a meeting at 7 tonight, so will be using MP to see A Quiet Place beforehand. Will be my ninth movie in about two months. Might not seem like a lot, but is absolutely more than I would've seen without MP!
I saw someone making fun of that movie about the never ending game of tag and the premise is pretty stupid but it has a lot of people I like in it so idk what to make of it also ^^ to me 9 in 2 months is a ton lol I really only went to the movies every few months bc of the cost so I'm excited to even go once or twice a month now.
