really? seems like that the ritz is the one that gets the good stuff and it doesn't take moviepass. at least from my research earlier
I saw people with the app open next to me when I was checking in for the first time and felt a special kinship, I didn't say anything of course
Saw Pacific Rim last night in a sold out theater thanks to MP. Movie sucked but it was about what I expected. Was just cool to get to use MP for an opening night sold out screening without any issue.
It's fine for what it is, a better version of Transformers, but I just wasn't really feeling it. I didn't really like the first one much either despite being a GDT fan, but I went to see the sequel because my buddy was super into it.
I didn't realize Isle Of Dogs was a limited run and the closest theater with it is two hours away. WELP.
It's going wide(r) next Wednesday and then I think even more theaters are getting it next Friday. Just give it a week or two and it should be playing everywhere.
Okay, I am officially ticked off by MP, haha. My gifted subscription ended and even though I had my CC info in it kicked me out of the app. When I try to sign in it says I don't have an active subscription and won't let me log in. When I try to sign up it tells me my email is already in use. There's no way for me to subscribe again and I can't get a hold of any customer service! I don't want to start all over with a new email and have to wait for a new card, but I don't know what else to do!
Gonna see Ready Player One tonight, expectations are super low but it's Spielberg and Tye Sherridan is cute so shrug emoji. My sister is having this exact same problem, seems like they didn't plan these gift subscriptions very well!
Seeing my first opening movie with MoviePass with Ready Player One. The showing was added only a couple days ago so the seats were pretty much all available. Pumped to see this. Also two of my friends got movie pass. One ordered his and got it in a week. Another ordered his and its been like 3 weeks and he still hasnt gotten it. How does that happen? lol I imagine this has been MoviePass HQ since August.
Shit! RPO is 2 hours and 20 minutes. Yeesh. More movies really need to strive to hit 90, not 120+. 120 minutes+ should be saved for rare movies.
I think 100 minutes is the sweet spot for most non-comedies. Comedies shouldn’t be more than 90 minutes.
Like I said, closer to 90 than 120 haha! Certain movies pull off a longer film, most of them end and you go, “they should have cut x sequence”. I’d rather want more than have too much.
