I've always kept my ticket stubs. Not just for movies and concerts but for like travel and stuff haha.

 

Was anybody else blocked from seeing Red Sparrow the normal way trough the app?

Apparently they blocked opening night for some areas to push people towards Death Wish.

But there was a way around it that I used and still saw it. Kind of annoying though.

 

finally gonns watch game night tomorrow.

I've been slacking on my movie game but I need to crank some movies out before Isle Of Dogs/Pacific Rim.

 

Isle of Dogs is something I should want to see based on all the talent involved. But every time the trailer starts I tune out.

 

Excited for Wrinkle in Time next week

 

I'm definitely most excited for Wrinkle in Time right now. Still need to see Annihlation too.

 

Anyone seen “Nostalgia” or “Film Stars Don’t Die In Liverpool”? Our art house theater got them this weekend and I’ve not heard much about either.

 

I wanted to see both of those but Film Stars only played for a week and Nostalgia is at one of the two theaters in town that MP doesn't support.

 

I heard good things about Film Stars but it hasn't hit anywhere near me yet.

 

Ugh, so many movies out I wanna see, but I've been battling a nasty cold and don't want to be coughing and blowing my nose a million times in the theater lol

 

I wish more people were like you lol

 

Bullshit that I couldn’t use this for Red Sparrow.

 

It was weird it said the screening wasn't supported but if you didn't see your thing on the screen sign in here,when I did that it let me get Red Sparrow tickets but I'm worried I broke the rules and my account will be cancelled

I got a push notification for Red Sparrow too but didn't read it

 

there's an article about the Red Sparrow thing, I wonder if they'll start doing this more, if it's stated policy that you can't see it the first week or whatever I guess that's technically legal but there whole "you can check at home before you go" thing is bullshit
Why Is MoviePass Blocking ‘Red Sparrow’ Ticket Purchases This Weekend?

 

I had no problem buying a red sparrow ticket yesterday with mine.

 

It was only certain markets

 

saw game night and that was a solid comedy.

Jesse Plemons is still literally the best.

 

Death Wish was kinda fun. The non-action dialogue was very Lifetime-y though. And I can’t believe there was no joke about how Bruce Willis and Dean Norris look alike.

 

In the last two days I’ve seen Death Wish & Black Panther (finally). The problem with DW is that the timing of its release is the absolute worst, other than that I had a good time watching it. Black Panther was...as expected...the bees knees

Also, literally every single film I’ve seen since I got the movie pass in January has had a trailer for this fucking Gringo film. I think the Moviepass Universe is tryin’ to tell me something..

 

I think tomorrow I'll go watch Early Man in the morning and also I'll be the only person there.

 

Still need to watch Jumanji, Annihilation, and Game Night, but I know A Wrinkle in Time and Tomb Raider are going to take priority for me once they're out. Jumanji's been out for a while now, though.

 

had my first glitch with moviepass :(

i went to go see Black Panther, checked in at the parking lot, went inside and noticed all showtimes were sold out (the app didnt indicate this)... and it wouldn't let me go see another movie when i tried to cancel my reservation. :(

 

Saw my third film in a row last night, Game Night. Seeing a fourth movie today (Red Sparrow) and have plans to go out tomorrow night to see Annihilation. Definitely getting my money’s worth this week!

 

ughhh tell these clowns I just want my card activated just answer my damn calls, emails and chat contacts! This is never gonna be resolved I feel like.
