    Thanks for the heads up. I got the beta invite this morning, but I had to re-request it because it wanted my Gmail account rather than the email from the MoviePass account.

    Can you just go back and run the old app to check in?

    if you haven't installed the new version you'll be fine. If you have installed it you just need to delete and re-install the normal app from the app store.

    So I finally got around to going through their new TOS they released the other day. A few things that caught my eye.

    So they're saying they can change the price whenever they want without telling us? Seems super shady/illegal.

    Hadn't heard anything about them getting into the home video market. Maybe in the future you can use your MoviePass to buy DVDs/BluRays? Perhaps if you pay more per month or something like Netflix?

    I think the DVD/Blu-ray probably pertains to the films they purchased from Sundance. idk

    The only thing that concerns me is that they are saying they can change the terms/price without notice.

    But I'm on the subreddit daily so I'm sure others would mention it and I'd catch it quickly, plus I wouldn't think they could raise the price until the next billing cycle so just be aware.

Yeaaaah... last week, I hit up moviepass cust service for round #3 of telling them I still haven't received my cards. yesterday was "business day #6" when they said it'd be 5 to 7 business days (again) and I still haven't received anything. I'm giving them til Monday and then I'll be asking for cards again, for the 4th time since I ordered the service on Dec 16th. This shit sucks.

    I feel bad for the people having problems. Other than having to wait 6 weeks to receive my card, it's been smooth sailing. (I signed up in Sept/Oct right when the price drop was announced)

    Yeah Ive had no problems minus the initial long wait which is understandable. They messed up and didnt charge me for the year subscription when they offered the 7$ deal, but I emailed them and they fixed it I think a day later.

  16. Question. Under "moviepass cards" on my app, it lists 3 card numbers for myself as well as 3 different card numbers for my girlfriend (since we had to ask for cards 3 times.) This doesn't mean they are going to charge me for 6 cards right?? Just the 2 that we received?

    Should just mean they're gonna charge you for the 2 you received. They base the date you get charged every month off when you activate the cards, so since you aren't activating all 6 cards you should be fine.

    Just be careful to activate the correct cards, and check in with the correct cards. I've heard people on reddit say they checked in but the funds were loaded to the wrong card because they inadvertently activated the wrong card.

  21. So here's actually what's up:

    The app tells me 3 different cards. 1 of those cards is actually the one that I received.

    Same thing for my girlfriend's.

    I just discovered Letterboxd (wayyyy behind, I know) but I am loving the site so much. It's really helpful especially for upcoming releases so that hopefully I don't miss anything. I'm looking forward to using it to track what I see with my MoviePass outside of the MP app.

    I decided to go like 10 mins before the movie start because I thought it have some seats available(reserved seating)

    I get there to find out it's sold out and I just went welp and left. I'll watch it eventually.
