I saw The Phantom Thread yesterday. I need to get to viewing 10 of TLJ and then do The Post this weekend.

 

Viewing number 10?!?!?! Are you kidding me?

There are very few movies I could watch 10 times, especially in the span of 6 weeks.

 

I live literally across the street from a movie theater. It was easy to go 2 times a week after work. I also really loved the movie so that doesn't hurt. But at least I got my money's worth from my Movie Pass!

 

If you're into it, by all means. I just couldn't do it. MoviePass is the wave though. Definitely "getting my money's worth"

 

As somebody who lost his card (but fortunately found it), this is exactly what I was afraid of and I feel for you. May the Movie Pass Force be with you.

But of course, this finally gets figured out on the day MoviePass announces they’ll no longer be servicing the Boston theater that’s right outside my office.

 

I got my card in the mail today and went to my first movie. I made a mistake though and checked in without knowing I only had 30 minutes to buy the ticket, so I had to leave the place I ordered my food and go back. I couldn't figure out how to cancel on the app.

Yep. I had to double take because the guy I stood behind in line was wearing the exact same camo trucker hat and carhartt overalls as the guy I almost bumped into by the box office haha

 

Oh shit, one of my favorite theaters when I was in high school is blocked in Tampa now.

Good thing no one gives a shit about Knoxville.

 

I’m liking how the kiosk line at my regal is a little close-knit MoviePass family now lol. The one or two people who use the line without one are converted fairly quickly.

edit: Don't download the beta yet! I just noticed the timezone is set for east coast so I can't check into the 5:15 showing of Phantom Thread because it's 5:51 on the east coast.

 

Paddington 2 was an absolute joy. Haven’t felt that much emotion in a kids movie since Toy Story 3.
