I would do AMC In a heartbeat if it wasn’t two hours away and the fact there are 2 regal cinemas near me and they STILL HAVENT ANNOUNCE ANYTHING YET LITERALLT JUST SAY IF YOU WILL DO IT OR NOT
The closest amc is like 25 minutes from me but the two other ones closer are much nicer theater's as well so I don't think I'd do it. They have those recliner big padded seats
yeah, that's a bummer if there are no AMC's nearby. I miss the freedom of going to any theater with MP, but A-List is just so headache free.
I was regretting cancelling because people I know say it works much better now but lots in this thread are still having issues. I would get A-List if the only AMC semi close wasn't at Disney Springs which is just too much of a hassle with parking/crowds. I hate that I rarely go to the movies anymore and when I do it is like 13 dollars.
Kind of surprised how many customers I’ve had use Movie Pass today. Haven’t seen any for a couple weeks, assumed it was dead.
Some of the guys I work with still use it. They frequent the manor theater in shadyside so it's worth it for them. I'm closer to the north hills Cinemark, I've heard it doesn't always work there though
I was so confused because there's both a Cinemark and a North Hills in LA but the Cinemark is in North Hollywood, not North Hills.
It usually doesn’t, but Saturday I had a bunch of people using it. It was mostly for Goosebumps though.
I haven't seen Mid90s yet, will be going this weekend for sure. Bad Times was a let down. The Hate U Give and A Star Is Born are both worth your time.
Aiming to do mid90s, El Royale, and Halloween for this week’s A-list. The only negative about A-list is if you fall behind on your schedule, it’s constantly catch up mode.
@riotspray @Mrplum5089 Thanks for the recs! Went with Hate U Give. Damn that was a tough film to watch, very good but very very heavy. Absolutely worth the price of admission. I was teary-eyed most of the way through.
I think my regal raised their prices for matinee and just give me your MoviePass already because I’m sad. It’s $10 for matinee and that’s not even worth it.
I just got an email from sinemia saying that it's going 100% cardless by October 31st and that I don't have to pay any convenience or processing fees for 90 days. It says 96% of users are already cardless so I guess I'm the 4%. I've been paying the fees already though so I don't know what they are talking about lol. Doesn't really explain the process besides saying follow the instructions on the app when it happens
I drove to the other side of town to see it and if I just stayed in my side it would have been like $6 so I was angry.
