Is "Pulling a Citizen" the new "Pulling a Title Fight/Turnover"?

I kid, this song is great. Wasn't a huge fan of Barbed Wire Body, I like this much better.

 

I'm really diggin' Cherry Thrill. I just hope they don't overcompensate and jump into full blown pop territory.

 

I don’t feel like that’s what’s happening, I could see them moving to more groove oriented music with pats soaring vocals over it, which imo would sound quite different than turnover or citizen!

 

Little too Pop forward for me. Prefer the more subdued vocals with moments of him hitting his higher register.
Might just not be for me

 

New song is super cool. The B-Sides from NGLTG and Barbed Wire Body have been great too.

 

The quality of everything in that video is fantastic! The crowd, the energy, the audio, the editing. That must of been an awesome evening.

Been really digging these singles. Not sure I love the rollout of whatever’s happening though. Curious if these are part of an album or if they’re their own thing? Don’t want to overplay them if they’re part of the album.

 

Based on some things they said at a show I think there are one offs. Apparently they said they had a lot of new music coming and not all of it would be on their album. Maybe they want to give these a chance to be heard as one offs rather than be regarded as b sides
