Their set last night was meh. Sold out 1,000 cap TSSF headliner and they barely got a response on the new songs
This album is great sad to hear some fans don't dig it. I think it's a great evolution from Feel Something.
Feel Something had that Tumblr-core scene hype behind it, and this one is more focused and....man, "mature" is such a simple descriptor, but its appropriate. There's something corny but super enjoyable about Feel Something that's been traded in on this and I just feel like their fanbase hasn't been too receptive.
Spencer’s drums are very tasteful though so they carry me through the songs that I don’t like as much as the others. Overall though, I like the album though
I didn't really dig Feel Something but I love this. It is kind of a downer though, and is a pretty exhausting listen all the way through. More of a somber fall/winter album for me.
This was one of my most played albums of 2020, but I rarely revisit this year. I think it's good but I still think we havn't heard the best from these guys.
Maybe LP3 will be less sad/depressed? This song is certainly more pop but still sounds like movements.
Was a bit worried after this record they weren't gonna be able to grow much more in their sound but I like where this is going. Hope there's some interesting and weird ideas on the record.
