Growing up, at least for 6 or so years, in the same area as Pat (and knowing him), that song actually hit me quite hard. California has always had a complicated place in my heart, so I immediately related to the idea of leaving and kind of missing it, kind of not. But I totally get how it wouldn't feel that way amidst the rest of the tracklisting if you didn't have that kind of connection to the subject matter.
i've just been playing seneca through to the end on repeat for the past few days. they ended this with a bang.
I didn't like this on first listen but then I listened to it again the next day and instantly became hooked. Very good album
Were there any bands making this brand of emo to also put out an album this year? Don't have a lot on my radar so far.
I got so hyped up for this record based on the first song and the rest of the record just did not live up to that song. I'm excited to see how they progress though.
I enjoy this record more each time I listen to it. Probably going to be high on my aoty list. 12 Weeks really hit me today.
Movements Livestream Event It aired on 11/6 but it's available on demand now Full live performance of this album. $15+service fee
So turns out this album is kind of a stinker, huh? Especially after Feel Something. I’ve had almost no desire to listen over the last year. Usually skip a lot of the tracks when they come on shuffle. Crazy how that turned out when Feel Something is one of my most played records since it came out
