I am beyond excited to see one of my favorite musicians of all time this night but don’t know if I’m emotionally prepared for the performance I will see

 

Thought about going to that but couldn't swing it, unfortunately. Have you been to the venue before?

 

I havnt! Im actaully a little confused and maybe you can shed some light haha. Cause this show is techincally part of a festival in Calgary (im driving down from Edmonton). Sled Island Music Festival. But the Mount Eerie show is in a old church venue or something?

 

He played in an old church here last year but I wasn't as familiar with him then otherwise I would of went.

 

Yep, all the shows for Sled Island are in different venues scattered around downtown rather than being in one festival area. They host a couple shows in that church every year. Couple years ago I saw Godspeed You! there. Probably the best venue I've been to in terms of atmosphere but it gets very hot and stuffy, so bring water haha.

Oh shit I didn't know these two were married. Good for them.

 

Extremely happy for both of them, they deserve companionship and love

But seriously, this is so cool and very unexpected. So happy for both.

That's too bad. I would never want to speculate, but I can't imagine it's easy to navigate a new relationship when you've lost a previous S/O, let alone each person in the relationship having lost one. I just hope they're both as happy and healthy as possible
